2026 Ready, Set, Grow! KIDS!
2026 Ready...Set...Grow... KIDS Gardening Workshop, on Saturday, March 28 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Sauk Valley Community College (173 IL-2, Dixon, IL 61021).
Budding gardeners ages 8 to 14 are invited to their own set of hands-on activities covering topics including soil, seeds, flowers, pollinators, and the environment. Youth participants will also create their own milk jug greenhouses following the adult activity.
The fee for this program is $25.
Registration deadline is March 16.
The university plans to capture photographs of this event. Be aware that if you attend, you are consenting to the possibility that your image and likeness may be shared or published by the university for marketing-communications purposes. You may be asked to sign an optional photo release at check-in. Please notify staff when checking in or alert the photographer if you don’t want your photograph taken.
