The 11th annual Illinois Invasive Species Symposium will be held May 28, 2026 at the Champaign County Extension Auditorium in Champaign, IL.

Get the latest research updates, explore management recommendations, network with colleagues, and find resources to manage invasive species effectively. Topics include an update on new and emerging invasive species, the use of fire and drones in invasive management, how a pollutant is limiting an invader, and an open Q&A expert panel discussion on the management of terrestrial invasive species in Illinois.

The event will be held at the Champaign County Extension Auditorium, located at 801 N. Country Fair Drive, Champaign, IL 61821. Presentations will begin at 9:30 am and wrap up at 3:30 pm. Lunch is included in the $25 registration cost. This program is in-person only. Please register by May 20.

The final session of this year's symposium will be an expert panel discussion titled "The Management of Terrestrial Invasive Species in Illinois". The Garden: Spinach, Roasted Tomatoes, olive relish, roasted red peppers, onion, artichokes, pepperoncini, italian vinaigrette, italian seasoning, served on herbed focaccia. VEGAN
