The 2026 Illinois Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy Annual Partnership Conference brings together researchers, agency leaders, conservation professionals, and practitioners to share progress, explore emerging science, and strengthen partnerships supporting nutrient loss reduction across Illinois. This year's conference features statewide updates, scientific advances, and implementation strategies that support coordinated action across sectors.

The Illinois NLRS Data Portal and Annual Summary
Statewide nitrogen and phosphorus river loads and yields
Sector progress across agriculture, point source, and urban stormwater
Nutrient Research and Education Council priorities and activities
Agricultural Water Quality Science Team recommendations

The Illinois NLRS
Building the Scientific Foundation for Illinois NLRS 2.0
Edge-of-field solutions from farm fields to floodplains

Participants have opportunities to:

Please note for those participating in person: Lunch will be on your own, and you will have an hour and a half to return for the afternoon sessions.
