2026 Garden Learning Series - Landscaping for Birds (In Spanish)

The University of Illinois Extension Lake County Master Gardeners, SWALCO, and the Lake County Forest Preserve District present the 2026 Garden Learning Series 
Programs will be held virtually on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Zoom information, Handouts and Slides will be provided via email by 2pm on the day of the presentation.
Programs will NOT be recorded, unless otherwise noted. Programs are Free and Virtual via Zoom
September 9th - Landscaping for Birds (Jardinería para las aves) - Presented by Marcela Martinez, Environmental Educator with the Lake County Forest Preserve District.

Do you enjoy watching birds and would like to attract them to your garden year-round? Learn about the different ways you can achieve this in your garden while incorporating native plants. This presentation will also include suggestions on garden accents to help birds and other wildlife. This presentation will be in Spanish.
