2026 Certified Food Protection Manager Course
University of Illinois Extension will offer the Certified Food Protection Manager Course at three locations across the region. During this one-day class, held from 9 AM to 7 PM, participants will learn about the principles and recommendations of the FDA Food Code, including food safety and contamination, employee health and hygiene, safe food handling practices, cleaning and sanitizing, and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) systems. This accredited American National Standards Institute (ANSI) course meets the Illinois Department of Public Health’s Food Service Sanitation Code requirements.
Participants must attend the full training to be eligible to take the exam. Lunch will be provided.

- June 1st at the Vermilion County Extension Office (3164 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61832)
- July 27th at the Ford-Iroquois Counties Extension Office (1380 S Crescent St, Gilman, IL 60938)
- December 1st at the Champaign County Farm Bureau Auditorium (801 N Country Fair Dr, Champaign, IL 61821)
There is a $60 fee for youth and $100 fee for adults to cover this educational session. This fee includes educational materials, the examination, and lunch. Space is limited, and preregistration is required.
