2026 BEEF Weigh-In
January 31*- 9 am-12 pm
Beef Barn, McHenry County Fairgrounds
11900 Country Club Rd, Woodstock

*Reschedule or Snow date will be Feb. 14 from 9 am –12 pm. 

NEW USDA REQUIREMENTS for 2026:
RFID 840 tags will be required for all cattle and swine exhibited at a county fair beginning in 2026.
If your animal already has an EID tag, the 840 tag ID already in place will be used. We will NOT replace that tag.
 
Register:
  • ALL members enrolled in BEEF Project must register that they WILL or will NOT attend Beef weigh-in
  • ONE registration per FAMILY
  • MAXIMUM number of animals you might bring or NONE
  • How many 840 tags you will need
  • Preferred time slot

Premises Identification involves assigning a unique number to premises involved in animal agriculture. Download and complete the Registration Form for FREE and return it to us by email, fax, or mail.
