2026 BEEF Weigh-In
January 31*- 9 am-12 pm
Beef Barn, McHenry County Fairgrounds
11900 Country Club Rd, Woodstock

*Reschedule or Snow date will be Feb. 14 from 9 am –12 pm.

NEW USDA REQUIREMENTS for 2026:
RFID 840 tags will be required for all cattle and swine exhibited at a county fair beginning in 2026.
If your animal already has an EID tag, the 840 tag ID already in place will be used. We will NOT replace that tag.

Register:

ALL members enrolled in BEEF Project must register that they WILL or will NOT attend Beef weigh-in
ONE registration per FAMILY
MAXIMUM number of animals you might bring or NONE
How many 840 tags you will need
Preferred time slot

Contact the Extension office or Livestock Superintendent if you are available to help with set-up prior to weigh-in.
