2025 Native Landscape Design Workshop Interest List

Every year, University of Illinois Extension in Cook County holds a Native Landscape Design Workshop in January and February. If you are interested in being notified when registration for our 2025 program is open, please fill out this form! We will send you an email when registration opens for the workshop. Note: You will still need to sign up for the workshop itself, should you wish to participate.

More about the program:

This workshop has two parts:

1. Educational lecture by Extension horticulture educators and Master Gardener. This session will focus on landscape design principles, native plants resources, and incorporating native plants into your landscape.

2. At the end of the lecture, attendees will be invited to attend one of two virtual coaching sessions, where they will be mentored by a Master Naturalist or Master Gardener who will help with garden layout, plant selection, and troubleshooting. Capacity for coaching sessions is limited and attendance of the lecture does not guarantee a spot in a coaching session.
