2025 DeKalb County Garden Walk

2025 DeKalb County Garden Walk

Saturday, July 12, 2025 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Please join University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners at their annual DeKalb County Garden Walk.  This year's event will include six beautiful home gardens and one educational spotlight garden located in the DeKalb, Sycamore and Genoa areas.  Attendees visit the gardens at their own pace on a self-guided tour.  Master Gardeners will be onsite at each garden to answer questions and give guidance.  This is a rain or shine event; if rain is likely please dress for the weather and bring an umbrella with you.  Please do not bring pets to the gardens.

A wristband is required for each attendee (over 13 years old) to enter into the gardens and may be purchased for $10 each from this site (credit card or check) through Saturday, July 5th.  Wristbands are also available for purchase in person from Monday, June 16 through 11:30 am on the day of the event (July 12th) from the following local vendors (cash or check):

DeKalb County U of I Extension Office - 1350 W. Prairie Drive, Sycamore, IL (located at the DeKalb County Farm Bureau Building).

Blumen Gardens - 403 Edward Street, Sycamore, IL

Glidden Florist - 917 W. Lincoln Highway, DeKalb, IL

The Garden Market - 2270 Oakland Drive, Sycamore, IL

Wristbands ordered from this site may be picked up at the DeKalb County U of I Extension Office (1350 W. Prairie Drive, Sycamore, IL 60178) or we can mail them to the address you enter into this registration.  You will have an opportunity to choose which option you prefer below.  A list of all the garden names and addresses and a map will be included with your wristbands.
