Location: I Hotel & Illinois Conference Center (1900 S 1st St, Champaign, IL 61820)
Earn five (5) hours of USDA Professional Standards for school nutrition team members from the ABCs of School Nutrition. ABCs of School Nutrition is provided by the University of Illinois Extension and funded by the Illinois State Board of Education. There is no charge for the training, but individual pre-registration is required as space is limited. Lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
Tentative Schedule:
9-10 am: Vegetarian Options in the Lunchroom

10-11 am: Incorporating Cultural Foods in the School Lunchroom
11-12 pm: Farm to school
12-1 pm: LunchÂ
1-2 pm: ISBE presentation (Topic TBD)
2-3 pm: Food Taste TestÂ
Registration will close on 7/30/25 or when the location meets capacity.
