2024 Conservation@Home Event Request

Thank you for your interest in the Conservation@Home program in Cook County. This form serves as a request for Conservation@Home-related programming. Please use this form if you would like to request a presentation on conservation topics or a Conservation@Home table at your event.

All groups requesting talks should have a minimum audience of 15 people. Requests need to be made at least 10 weeks in advance in order to coordinate our volunteer's schedules. We make a good faith effort to fulfill all requests, but we cannot guarantee fulfillment of requests that come after this 10 week timeframe. To better accommodate all groups, we reserve the right to limit each group to two talks per calendar year.

Please note, we are only able to honor requests for events within Cook County. If you are not located in Cook County, we recommend looking into your local branch of the Conservation@Home program. If you're having trouble finding the contact for your county's Conservation@Home program, please reach out. We do not deliver presentations at private homes.

Donations are greatly appreciated. Donations run $50 to $150 depending on how much the organization can afford. Young organizations just getting started for instance are subsidized by more established and well-financed ones. That way we can serve everyone. Please make out your check to University of Illinois Extension and mail to University of Illinois Extension Office, 2205 Enterprise Dr. Westchester, IL 60154.

All publicity or promotional materials should give credit to the University of Illinois Extension.

** Please note: Extension Staff cannot sign any contracts **

Program staff will be in touch within one week of form submission. Should you have any questions before then, feel free to reach out to Abigail Garofalo at aeg9@illinois.edu. Thank you!
